On April 1, 2014, Metrics Research (MR) and Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College (LNH) Sign Agreement for Collaboration in Clinical Research and Trainings
Metrics Research believes in collaborations that involve close cooperation, clear shared goals, and a structured system of discussion and action and that collaborative work proceeds most effectively in an atmosphere of trust. This end goal materialized with MR inking an exclusive clinical research agreement with LNH. Through close-collaboration, co-creation, coordination, and the combination of capabilities both parties envision to generate awareness and to advance Pakistan’s clinical research platform by enhancing clinical research projects – epidemiological studies and clinical trials including much needed trained clinical research professionals for specialized roles such as ICH GCP certified professionals compatible with internationals norms and standards in Pakistan and abroad.
MR and Liaquat National Hospital are dedicated to improving their institutional patients’ quality of life and health by combining their efforts. This firm commitment expressed by both parties embodies a mission much needed to enhance institutional clinical research capacity and capability to match supply with demand generating the special knowledge and training for skilled medical and life sciences professionals needed to overcome current barriers in clinical research. These clinical research trainings cover areas beyond basic didactic including discussions, workshops, quizzes and other interactive learning tools.
MR wishes to consolidate its position as a leading CRO and SMO to help project Pakistan’s clinical research capacity and capability. To meet this challenge it realized fours critical elements to success: establish a clear objective from the beginning, have a good understanding of its partner and their strong points, ensure each party handles work they know best, ensure that its partners perceives the collaboration as providing added value rather than a mere business transaction, and to continually evaluate results for desired results.
