MR’ track record of clinical research trials include Phase II, Phase III, Phase IV and observational studies involving  approximately 1000 subjects to date.

Among international special projects: biological samples procurement for proteomics and genomics research figures prominently involving identification of environmental factors affecting diseases in local populations (through Stanford U. and CDC).

To facilitate research MR realized the need of capacity building and so far has established four research cells at different prominent local hospitals. Locally, MR has managed to achieve 15 institutional collaborations.
International collaborations have produced very good results and long term relationships have been fostered with Integrated Laboratory Services-Biotech (ILSBio), USA, Parexel - APEX International (Taiwan), Kendle International (USA), and Kriger Research Group International (KRGI) of Canada.

MSA’s have been signed with Covance and EPS International of Japan.  Numerous CDA’s have been signed with several organizations such as PRA International (USA) and Pharm-Olam International (UK), and CMR-LAB (Computational Model Research Laboratory, UAE), and several others including China and India based CROs.
Since Q2, 2008 MR has been working with Cure2Children Foundation of Italy involving studies and research projects on Thalassemia and pediatric cancers.

MR has forged ahead and established inroads with the regulatory departments by becoming a member, Experts Committee Pakistan GCP Guidelines, member, GCP Inspection System Guidelines Development Committee, and trainer of Clinical Trial/ Research Approvals Group.

To propagate and promote clinical research in Pakistan MR has become a member, Steering Committee for Clinical Research with the Trade and Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
All of the aforementioned strategies define the many ways MR has prepared the ground, ready and conducive for first class international global clinical research projects.

It will be MR’s pleasure to share clinical research related information with any interested party(ies) considering taking advantage of the many opportunities Pakistan affords.
